As most who follow this blog know, I connect most with my friends and family on Facebook. So if you are reading this and still want to keep up with me, please head on over to my Facebook page. I'm also on Instagram at RivahRachel.
Anyways, recently I signed up to receive a product at a discount for an honest review. So here goes!
The product is Valentia Even Glow Serum. I committed to leaving a review within 14 days of receiving and quite honestly, I think I need more time to give you the most in depth review. But since I am privy to following rules, and it is now say 13, I better follow through.
Here is a link to the actual product on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00HJD8NLY/ref=mp_s_a_1_1_a_it?qid=1460208744&sr=8-1&keywords=valentia+even+glow+serum&pi=SY200_QL40
First off the directions on the bottle are confusing. The first sentence in the directions tell you shake it for 1-2 seconds as the ingredients separate "before use". So now the next step I would assume, would be to use the product. Next sentence tells you to wash ans dry your face. Then there is a space and it tells you to apply a small amount to your face, etc and to allow it to dry before applying moisturizer. So do I wash my face after I apply this or do I apply it after I wash my face? I'm new to serums and I suspect my followers don't know much about them either. Anyways, the approach I took was to wash my face and then apply. I would wait a bit before I put on moisturizer- sometimes a whole night or sometimes a few minutes.
The serum is a good consistency. It's not to thick or runny. I will however say it looks just like my duckies' pee! Haha! Either way, I have no issues with the bottle, which is a nice dark tint, or the consistency of the product. Oh and it smells amazing!
Now let's move on to effectiveness. First, it absorbs quickly and that is important to me. So, thumbs up there! Next---- I haven't seen any results yet but I think I need more time! I think it would be unfair to say this didn't work yet. Some of the results could be so subtle at this point. So please hang with me.
I will post a follow up review if I feel the need to do so.
Any questions, do not hesitate to ask.

A mixture of pictures
I don't want to spend a lot of time on the computer but it was nice that social work is letting me use this one! I've created a few new posts of pictures... This post is a mixture, the next is from the farm and the last is from here in the PICU! As many have heard, Blakey suffered a cerebral hemorage. He is doing great and has not needed a shunt yet! He can't sit up, support his head or walk but ocassionally surprises us by sitting up and reaching for a stuffed animal or something!! We are waiting for the fluid to drain in his brain before he can be taken out of the ICU... we will definitly be here through the weekend. Tomorrow he has an MRI which will answer a lot of questions- like, what is causing this? (Is it a tumor?) His appetite has been good and he's been busy playing with new cars and stuffed animals while laying in bed :-) They predicted he may need to relearn how to walk and speak- however I see no problems with his speech right now! I took some cute pictures of him in his bed so please scroll down to see them!
