Going for a Bike Ride

:-) Captain Adorable!

Can't you just hear the music playing? "Bad to the bone"

Yesterday was a beautiful day so Blakey and I went for a bike ride! (Well, he did the riding and I walked)

Also, I realized I didn't have any pics of Blakey walking!

Uploading some older videos

Where's Blakey? There he is!!
This video is about a month n half old. I always used to play this game with him and then one day, he started playing it back with me! He's so smart :-)

Blakey shaking his head "no"- this video is about a month and half old also...

Meeting Cousin Jimmy

"Hmmm what kind of trouble can I get into with this phone? No one ever lets me play with their phone anymore!"

Plain N Simple: Playing with Toys

To put it plainly, this is just a video of Blakey playing with his toys. He keeps himself occupied for hours just playing with all of his toys (and he has a lot to choose from thanks to many generous people!) In this video, I think he is paying a lot of attention to a stuffed animal Elmo. Normally, he likes to walk around with a toy bat or toy hammer in his right hand and he plays with various toys that light up or make noise. And just recently, he started moving to the music that some toys play :-)

Fun in the bath!

Blakey LOVES bath time! For the longest time I was afraid to give him a normal bath because of his central line and being afraid of infection- but recently, I started giving him normal baths right before we change the dressing (covering) for his line. Otherwise, he gets sponge baths and he never has liked those (who would!) I can not wait for him to have his line taken out so we can have normal baths all the time and never have to worry about infections! (and I can't wait to go swimming again with him- may be awhile for that though...)

Flashes of Hope!

Back in November 2008, I had set up an appointment for Blake, Blakey and I to get our pictures taken with Flashes of Hope- but we ended up having an appointment at the clinic the same day that the pictures were going to be taken! :-( So, I told the social worker we would not be able to make it- however she checked with the clinic to see if it would be ok if Blakey and I (Blake ended up having to work) would be able to sneak in while we were waiting to see the Dr while we were at the clinic. (And they let us get our pictures taken!) Unfortunately, I didn't really plan our outfits because I figured it wasn't going to work out- and so I am in my work clothes!
Also please note, Blakey looks kinda sad because he was having a very rough day- this was probably a couple days out from having chemo and he was very nautious and was throwing up...

Right now Blakey and Mrs Jones are in NYC at Sloan Kettering under going 3F8. The first day was VERY rough for the little guy- lots of pain, tummy aches and hives. Day 2 and 3 went much better with a combined effort from everyone, we figured out how to effectivley manage his pain.
I will update more on this later.
